Here Are 7 Steps to Become an Effective Leader:

1. Recognize

Recognize that leadership is a gift, an art, a craft…that has to be continually developed.  Seek out and be willing to learn from effective leaders who have developed this craft we call leadership.

2. Realize

Realize the fact that although leadership is a craft, it is not rocket science.  STOP MAKING IT SO DIFFICULT.  I repeat, unless you are a leader at NASA, your leadership role is not rocket science; chill-out and quit making things so hard on yourself and others.  BTW- If you are a leader at NASA or a rocket scientist, you should probably be asking the tough question: “Is what we do still necessary or relevant?” Except the call, and know you are chosen for the oil.

3. Remember

Remember The Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you!”  Most leaders barely remember the bronze rule, let alone The Golden Rule.  As a leader, it’s important to care about your people, to love your people, to care about their interests, care about their success…to treat them how you would want and expect someone to treat you.  Remember in order to become an effective leader, you have to understand that “Relationships Matter!”Love is the key and with out it everything else do not matter.

4. Replicate

Replicate what works and don’t force things that don’t work.  Don’t try to be a replicate of another leader or simply replicate what you have read in a book, but rather replicate the effective “What Works” concept into who you are and what you do! Be an original, know that there is one you and no one can work your gift except YOU!!!

5. Resurrect

Resurrect a dying team member; an effective leader has the ability to take a dying team (members) on the verge of being hurt, or broken and help resurrect them into a story that begins with this sentence…“There was a time when I was down and lost and my leader spoke life into me…Wow, look at how successful they are now!”

6. Reinvent

Reinvent the way leadership is carried out!  Break the box, find a new way, figure out what works for you, don’t be scared to be different, reinvent what might has been seen as irrefutable.  Reinvent out of hunger, creativity, thinking, believing, seeking etc.; don’t reinvent for the sake of reinventing!  “Don’t reinvent the wheel” just be yourself. Trust in the Holy Spirit and the God in you, and it will lead and guide you into truth.

7. Reign

Watch God reign and rule in your life, and watch his manifesting Glory, work through you like never before.

All Praises is given to Our Almighty Father, and may He continue to Bless you. This first lesson is awesome ,I can't wait for the rest of these amazing words that is manifesting in my Spirit. I really now know and understand why the things that happen in my life from seven years old until right now. All the horrible things that happen I can tell anyone how to forgive, when I would ask my Mother questions about how the sun, moon, stars, the day turns into night, and she didn't have the answers, I can stand up to any one or religion and look in their eyes with a great smile and say it is the God with many names. When I first heard a man was speaking next door to a three story rooming house full of sleeping alcoholics on a hot Sunday morning He said God so loved the world that he sent His only Son, He plause and His name is JESUS! that was the beginning of one of the answer. That day I had went into that building walking in front of a few people answering a soft call wanting to know more about this invisible Man. I always walked alone talking to something I couldn't see.As I begin to grow as I ran from the children in school.having two younger brothers I protected,I'd learned how to fight.but became a defender. My wishes became prayers. I started to look for love in all the wrong places. I didn't realized that I was stared walking in my calling.Agape!

Being effective is key. Effective is to be ready for service or action.

Amen I Enjoyed The Seven R's Of Being An Effective Leader & I Would Also Like To Add

Receiving Criticism: to receive constructive criticism from others without becoming defensive is also

part of being an effective leader.

Amen, bless you Jesse, I agree with you 100% when you stated, receiving criticism from others, without being offensive. Why do you think men and women cannot accept criticism? Explain why?

Blessings Evangelist Edith, yes REIGN is one of the main keys to walk as a powerful and effective leader. What do you think we as leaders can do more to allow God to REIGN in us, for us, and through us? Explain Why?

Blessing Pastor Tey..this is such a powerful message cause I was having troubles n my own house. I began to ask the Lord wat did i have to do to change it. First thing he said to me since I was single know that u are The First Lady , The Head Of The House and mean what I say and say wat I mean but do all of this n Love and obey my commands..Its getting peaceful everyday. One thing that is important is to study ur audiance . Even on facebook i pay attention to wat they write and how thier words sound n in my Spirit and when the Lord say write this Then I write. Im right where The Lord wants me and thats here.
Everyone is different. We must embrace others for the different aspect they bring to the team. Their difference is what make the team whole. Don't try to be me, but be the best you, that you can be!

Praise Our Almighty Father,my Sister from another Mother. All my life I wanted to be like anyone that look good and appeared like they had it all together. Especially if they had a lot of people I thought love them. After spending, giving, serving, buying drugs etc, it was until 17yrs ago I totally surrender and ask God, who I really depend on now to show me how to get the love from everyone I knew even my on children. The Holy Spirit spoke so sweetly and said  that it cost nothing for all the LOVE that He had given me. I never been in love with myself until I really started to read the Word of God and only then I slowly understand that Our Father created everything perfect, even me. Agape.

We first must empty ourselves of our self. Be and stay fervent in prayer. We should mediate on His word day and night. it is also important that we r mindful of r thoughts. Yes to the Spirit and No to the flesh.

Through RECOGNITION AND REALIZATION, we can understand that leadership roles are ever the more prevalent today and can be applied to any situation where we are required to take the lead, in ministry, in profession, socially, and at home within our own family settings.  Leaders come in all shapes and sizes and may lead in many aspects and endeavors.  A truly effective leader however, must come to terms with the fact that during the fulfillment process of their vision, they will inevitably encounter problems and obstacles along the way. The "craft" of leadership, must be in a constant state of development and maturity. Honesty is key! Our team or anyone under our covering should to be a Godly reflection of ourselves and ultimately, the reflection of the Father.  We must REMEMBER to draw on past experiences both positive and negative. We must clothe ourselves in humility and reach out to mentors and/or our own leaders seeking guidance, support, counsel and prayer in the same manner that our team will look to, and require of us. A lot of the time we are putting out fires and maintaining morale, our team is always taking cues, so what we exude will  be absorbed. We are to love and encourage in integrity and respect, and within an attitude of positivism and gratitude, adhering to Godly principles and staying true to our word and our Father's Word.  REPLICATE, if it works and if it is aligned to the vision and to the word of God.  If it aint broke we don't need to fix or alter it, to fit in, blend in, or meet the status quo, but stay true to the uniqueness that is our's alone. We are to RESURRECT anything valuable that may have been hindered or even lost along the process; listening to views and responding Godly appropriate, whether or not they are in agreement with our own. We are to stay accountable and responsible, maintain self control and admit mistakes and apologize. We all make mistakes! We should remain Godly assertive; Speak Life; "...and call those things which be not as though they were..."regenerate, revitalize, refresh, reinvigorate and if necessary, REINVENT, anything or anyone needing rebirth, uplifting, strengthening and encouraging from a position of wisdom, compassion, understanding and agape <3. Decision making will not always be straight forward, sometimes we are forced to step back and REASSESS, or even deviate from an original course or plan.  As a leader it is so vital that we learn to think outside the box, utilizing all possible options and resources and creating and developing new ones, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Creativity is self expression; we are to express the unique gifts within us! And if we have one, maintain a sense of humor :).  People generally enjoy and are drawn to happy environments, and "a merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance...". Laughter truly is the best medicine and an appropriate giggle break once in a while from the task at hand may go along way in increasing efficacy and morale. Work hard, yet be fair; this not only earns the respect of the team but gives due honor to our most gracious and merciful Father.

More often then not, the higher we soar, the higher the altitude pressure. We are to strive to remain committed, remain steadfast and faithful and "seek ye first His kingdom..." for the The Lord designed each and every one of of our unique inward parts;intricately knitting each and every one of us, fearfully and wonderfully in our mother's womb!
Claim it!  Own it! Commit to it!

Leading by the example of HE that lives in us,we REIGN in Godly confidence and on PURPOSE from GLORY TO GLORY, and whenever necessary, we take a breath and REturn and REpeat!!

"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all"  (Ecclesiastes 9:11) <3
